és te úgy érzed, hogy valamit tenned kell,
hogy a problémám megoldódjon,
bocsáss meg, de úgy érzem,
hogy süket vagy.
Nem kértem mást, csak hogy figyelj rám
és hallgass meg.
Nem kértem, hogy tanácsolj, sem hogy tegyél,
nem kértem mást, csak hogy hallgass meg.
Nem vagyok tehetetlen,
csak gyönge és elesett.
Amikor teszel valamit helyettem
amit nekem kell megtennem,
csak megerősíted a félelmemet és gyöngeségemet.
De ha elfogadod, hogy úgy érzek, ahogy érzek
még ha ez az érzés számomra érthetetlen is,
lehetővé teszed, hogy megvizsgáljam
és értelmet adjak az érthetetlennek.
Ha ez megtörténik a válasz világossá válik
és tanácsra nincs szükség.
Talán azért használ sok embernek az imádság
mert Isten nem ad tanácsot, sem megoldást,
figyel és meghallgat, a többit ránk bízza.
Tehát Te is, kérlek figyelj rám és hallgass meg.
Ha szólni akarsz, várj egy ideig
és akkor már én is tudok Rád figyelni.
